Trans rights are human rights, all day, every day. But today on 31 March we specifically put a spotlight and celebrate trans and gender diverse people all over the world for International Trans Day Of Visibility. Encouraging the beginning of conversations, the theme of this years celebration is #beseen and transgender and gender diverse people who feel comfortable and confident are encouraged to post a selfie to social media with the hashtag to participate. This helps create a conversation to make sure no one is being silenced, and that everyone is heard.
In celebration of International Trans Day Of Visibility we’ve compiled a list of our favourite trans and gender diverse artists that you need to discover. From 17 year old newcomer ElyOtto who is currently going viral on TikTok with ‘SugarCrash!’ to Australian favourites Cry Club and Tash Sultana, and international icons Shea Diamond, Sam Smith and the late SOPHIE, there are so many incredible talents to discover.
