A Carry 4 Coins was an initiative launched in 2020 to act in aid to support the devastating 2019 Australian Bushfires. After the massive sold out success of the 2020 edition, they’ve officially launched an annual event to fundraise for social causes impacting communities that require support.
The 2021 edition is supporting Black Rainbow which is an organisation and social enterprise in pursuit of the health, wellbeing and suicide prevention of the national Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander LGBTQIA+ community, and a collective of heroic Transgender Women of Colour working within their community to raise funds for gender affirmation surgery.
Rallying their support behind this event and cause, WAAX, Tia Gostelow, Teenage Joans, Sweater Curse, Emily Wurramara, and Pink Matter brought an energetic night of hope, love and angst to Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall.
