Factory Summer Festival has officially kicked off in Brisbane for their inaugural three week residency at Brisbane Showgrounds. This is the first time the festival (previously known as Ice Cream Factory Festival) has branched out of Perth, and they’re bringing out all the stops with a jam packed line-up of homegrown talent.
For the opening night they enlisted Hermitude and Anna Lunoe to get the crowd dancing and singing along euphorically. They were also joined by Elise Keddie and local supports Chelsea Sharne, Geordie and Curly Fries across the two stages.
With these specially curated shows, they’ve really honed the ultimate party vibe as you’re not running around worried about clashes, and are instead partying together and really appreciating the artists that are playing.
Over the next three weeks The Presets, Peking Duk, Confidence Man, George Maple, Benson, What So Not, Shockone, Vera Blue, GRAACE, Northeast Party House, ILLY, Hayden James, Nina Las Vegas, Example and more will bring their own unique vibes to the festival. So make sure you snap up the final remaining tickets before they are all gone and you’re left with fomo.
