SINGLE REVIEW: Louis The Child feat. Vera Blue – Nobody Like You

Over the past couple of years Louis The Child have quickly become one of my favourite EDM producers with an array of sonically innovative tracks in their discography that push boundaries and give original concepts. From ‘Better Not’ featuring Wafia to ‘It’s Strange’ featuring K.Flay, their ideas have always been so vivid and captivating.

Their debut album ‘Here For Now’ will finally be released on June 12 and to coincide with the exciting announcement they’ve got a new single for you to fall in love with.

‘Nobody Like You’ hears the Chicago duo teaming up with rising Australian singer-songwriter Vera Blue for a straight up euphoric pop-dance song. Exploring the feeling of falling in love, she sings about the emotions that have those butterflies surfacing and have you walking on air.

“But I tell myself stop, wait a minute, I always catch feelings too fast. But I mean it this time I think you should stay for a while, cause you’re driving me wild. And I know for a fact there’s nobody, nobody like you” she sings during the hypnotic pre-chorus.

Her vocal delivery during that part flows so well and has you immediately grooving along to the way the lyrics roll off her tongue.

The pulsating production doesn’t hold back from the pop attributes that lift this song to new heights and will have you dancing in the clouds with them. It’s just such a feel good pop moment and is one you will want to press replay on over and over again.
