SINGLE REVIEW: San Cisco – On The Line

Following the release of their recent EP ‘Flaws’, San Cisco are gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated fourth studio album in a big bold fashion.

‘On The Line’ is one of the bands most straight up pop tracks yet. Learning to not be afraid of that three letter word, the Fremantle trio have continued to evolve their sound and deliver big polished tracks that have a natural groove to them.

Layered with festival ready guitar riffs and polished pop production, they’ve created something that feels really positive and uplifting even though the lyrical content may not be defined that way. To bring both sides of the storyline to life they’ve got both Jordi Davieson and Scarlett Stevens singing on the track and harmonising together smoothly.

Reflecting on a couples intimate truths, they dive into those dark realisations that could ultimately tear a relationship apart. “It’s not in your head there’s something in the air. And when we disconnect I still feel you there” they sing during the pre-chorus.

But it’s the heart wrenching bridge that embodies the full emotions behind this storyline. “Too broken to fix. But I don’t want to give up on this when our love’s on the line”. Talk about heavy emotions.

Gliding your way through the 5 minute track, they have you dancing through the moment and chasing the boldness they’ve brought to the production.
