SINGLE REVIEW: The Jungle Giants – Sending Me Ur Loving

The Jungle Giants know how to deliver bonafide bangers back to back and after dropping their recent single ‘Heavy Hearted’ at the end of last year, they don’t want to break this tradition.

‘Sending Me Ur Loving’ is a straight up vibe. Sonically it sits in a similar soundscape to ‘Heavy Hearted’ and throughout the 4:13 minute duration you will be able to recognise quite a few similarities between the two tracks from guitar riffs to colourful beats. So while it may not be the most original song they’ve released, it will still have you bopping along without a single care in the world.

The hopelessly romantic track reflects on the way that someone has started to make them feel and  he starts to explain just how intensely he feels. “You must be sending me your loving. Oh cause I feel it all over. There’s nothing left to say girl. Oh you’re my four-leaf clover” lead singer Sam Hales sings during the chorus.

Sonically it’s obviously a great representation of the sound and direction that they are heading towards with this new forthcoming album but I would love to hear a different angle to what they are working on because it is quite similar to ‘Heavy Hearted’.
