In the lead up to the release of his sophomore studio album ‘Fine Line’ which will finally be released on December 13, Harry Styles had admitted that this album is quite different to what you’ve previously heard from him in the past. Focusing on heartbreak along with the contrasting joyous and hopelessness effects of sex, this record is an intriguing journey.
The third and final single that is being serviced before the albums release is the pulsating synth lead track ‘Adore You’. Reflecting on that heavy infatuation you experience when you start seeing someone and begin to grow heavy feelings for them he proclaims to his love interest that he simply adores them.
“You don’t have to say you love me, I just wanna tell you something. Lately you’ve been on my mind” he confesses during the pre-chorus before more aggressively elaborating on his feelings in the hook. “Honey I’d walk through fire for you. Just let me adore you”.
The song has a really groovy flow with a 80’s pop-rock polish that makes you just want to slide along with him.
It’s another strong song that is showing that Harry Styles may just have a late addition to the contenders of your “album of the year” countdowns.
