2019 has been a really exciting year for Spacey Jane. The Fremantle four piece gained huge triple j traction with ‘Good Grief’, ‘Good For You’ and ‘Head Cold’, completed a sold out Australian tour and also played at Splendour In The Grass and showcased at Bigsound in Brisbane. And the exciting thing is that they are only just getting started.
In early 2020 they will be touring the country as a part of Laneway Festival alongside the likes of The 1975, Charli XCX, Tones And I and Ruel. But to get warmed up for those massive festival shows, the band are touring the country for the final time in 2019 and are playing their biggest venues yet.
Returning to Brisbane, they unveiled their ambitious side by playing The Tivoli which is a venue a lot of bands aspire to play in their careers. Packing the venue out with their loyal and excited fans who are riding this wave of exploration with them, they played a set which was full of indie-rock vibes and surf rock hooks. Joined by Vacations and Sasami, they delivered a cool Saturday night full of entertainment.
