It’s safe to say that Morgan Evans has a little soft spot for Brisbane. After all, he did meet his wife, Kelsea Ballerina here in 2016 when they co-hosted the CMA’s together at the QPAC. From then on they became one of Country music’s cutest couples and rightfully so because they are absolutely a-d-o-r-a-b-l-e.
The Newcastle singer-songwriter returned home for a massive Australian tour in support of his sophomore record ‘Things That We Drink To’ that saw him playing to at capacity crowds that were screaming along to every single lyric joyfully.
Giving Brisbane the unforgettable show at Eatons Hill Hotel that they deserved, he brought his wife Kelsea Ballerini on stage to pay homage to the fact that their story together began in Brisbane. Performing ‘Dance With Me’ together, he then let her acoustically perform her new single ‘Homecoming Queen’ to the very excited crowd.
Performing all of the fan favourites like ‘Day Drunk’, ‘Kiss Somebody’, ‘Young Again’, ‘Like A Tornado’ and ‘I Do’, he had the crowd captivated the whole time.
