GALLERY: Love Fame Tragedy – The Zoo

Love Fame Tragedy is the exciting new side-project from The Wombats lead singer Matthew Murphy. With his debut EP ‘I Don’t Want To Play The Victim, But I’m Really Good At It’ freshly out in the world, he’s excitingly launched a world tour where he’s getting up close and personal with listeners and intimately sharing these new songs.

His love affair with Australia has always been incredibly strong. I mean, after all they did name their band after one of our animals and have never turned down an excuse to tour the country and play a mix of headlines shows and some huge festivals. So it only seems appropriate that Murph brings his new project to Australia for these exclusive test-run shows.

Wrapping up the string of dates in Brisbane at The Zoo with Austen, he powered through a 35 minute set of unreleased new material that he’s eager to share with audiences. However, don’t expect to hear any tracks from The Wombats in these shows as he exclusively and respectively wants to keep the two projects seperate.
