Over the past couple of years WAAX have turned the volume up in a big way. From playing local gigs around Brisbane to headlining sold out shows across the country, playing huge festivals and even making the Triple J Hottest 100 with their single ‘Labrador’, they have created some impressive impact for a band who haven’t even released an album yet. Well that is until now… because they are about to. On August 23, the energetic four piece fronted by the captivating Maz De Vita will be releasing their debut album ‘Big Grief’ to the world.
Ahead of the big release, they have embarked on a massive national Australian tour which has seen multiple shows sell out. Finding a way to heighten their already insane energy, their sold out show at The Triffid with Sweater Curse and Colts delivered a lot of huge sing alongs, moshing and sweating.
