SINGLE REVIEW: Tones And I – Never Seen The Rain

With her debut EP ‘The Kids Are Coming’ out on August 30 ahead of a massive sold out Australian tour in October, Tones And I is quickly making herself a newcomer that you need to get acquainted with. The Byron Bay singer-songwriter will be opening up the Amphitheatre stage at Splendour In The Grass this Friday and showing the crowd why she is worth the buzz. To coincide with this coveted set, she has dropped a tender new single which has a bright little punch. Her previous singles have been big pop moments with infectiously catchy hooks that are so powerful on their own. The single is a bit of a slow burner. It will take a couple of listens for it to grow on you but with it’s bright production you will feel the warmth. Reflecting on people who live a repetitive life in fear of failure she outlays why they should break out of that groove. This is a song which will suit her live set well and have you intrigued to see what is next to come from her because she has a lot of hype and support behind her.
