Jon Stevens is a name that rock fans are very familiar with. After all he was the frontman for Noiseworks with the chart favourite singles ‘Touch’, ‘Take Me Back’ and ’No Lies’, fronted INXS after Michael Hutchence’s death between 2000-2003, created a new band called The Dead Daisies and was apart of the highly acclaimed 1992 Australian production of Jesus Christ Superstar. And let’s not forget about his ten solo albums on top of that too which is an incredible feat for any musician who has been as busy as Stevens has throughout his career. The New Zealand singer-songwriter has returned to Australia for a string of dates on the Red Hot Summer Tour as well as some exclusive headline shows with Vanessa Amorosi which saw a really eclectic Brisbane crowd crowding into The Tivoli on a Friday night. Playing songs from his solo back catalogue as well as Noiseworks and INXS’ he gives fans a mixture of everything they wanted and more.
