GALLERY: Skillet – Eatons Hill Hotel

Christian rock has always been one of the most underrated genres with such a massive following all over the world with bands like Switchfoot, Everlife, Anberlin, Relient K and The Fray breaking into mainstream media. Another band who successfully made the transition into the charts and sold out shows all over the world is the Memphis based four piece, Skillet. This sonically harder Christian rock band fused together hard rock elements with pop melodies and electronic influences to create their own unique fusion. Returning to Australia for the first time since 2011, Skillet kicked off a huge Australian tour over the weekend with an explosive and energetic set at Eatons Hill Hotel in Brisbane. With the excited crowd packing into the venue, they sang along to a set that dived into their 9 album deep discography and catered for all the hits and fan favourites. The crowd also kept their energy high for the support bands, These Four Walls and The Lost Knights who also delivered some energetic and fun sets
