Hailing from Michigan in the United States, Børns is currently a long way from home. The singer-songwriter is in Australia supporting Lana Del Rey on her massive “LA To The Moon” arena tour and has impressed crowds with his dreamy sound and androgynous style. His last visit to Australia was all the way back in 2015 so he decided to make it up to his longterm fans by playing two exclusive headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne. These shows also come at the perfect timing as he has just released his second studio album “Blue Madonna” at the beginning of the year which includes his soothing singles “”God Save Our Young Blood” and “Faded Heart”.
Joining Børns for these headline shows is one of Australia’s most exciting emerging new acts, Woodes. The Melbourne songstress has just released her second EP “The Golden Hour” which is an intimate collection of indie-pop tracks with big production, soothing vocals and a whole lot of heart. Her live set sees her effortlessly gracing the stage with her unique charm and flowing interpretive dance moves that will have you entranced. New single “Origami” is an instant set favourite with it’s DIY production and catchy hook. Her new EP cements her impact as an artist who you really should be acquainted with.
