Panic At The Disco are responsible for the ridiculous anthems “I Write Sins Not Tragedies”, “Nine In The Afternoon” and “Death Of A Bachelor” and they are ready to add another one to the list. “Say Amen (Saturday Night)” is the lead single from the bands upcoming sixth studio album and it’s a tune and a half. They return to their signature theatrical pop-rock sound with a massive chorus that is ready to become a massive arena singalong. The upbeat track hears him trying to reconcile his mormon roots with who he is as a person and a performer now. “And every morning when I wake up I wanna be who I couldn’t say I’d ever been”. So it has a bit of a reflective and dark side to it which is very appealing with it’s bright chorus. This is definitely the radio ready track they needed which could easily cross over to become a festival anthem. They also released a second track call “(Fuck A) Silver Lining” which isn’t as captivating or memorable and fails to deliver the punch you needed.
