Superorganism have quickly become one of my must watch bands for 2018. Their debut self-titled album will be released on March 2 and the lead single ‘Everybody Wants To Be Famous” is a euphoric tune and a half. With the release day quickly looming they’ve dropped another song and it delivers a completely different vibe. “Reflections On The Screen” revisits their psychedelic pop sound their debut EP introduced and provides a relaxed vibe compared to the big radio friendly single. The romantic tinged song reflects on dating and relationships through the microscopes of social media. “All this stalling keeps me going. Just recalling, you and me and there’s something so affecting in the reflections on my screen”. The verses give me Lana Del Rey vibes before the Tame Impala influenced chorus takes over and gives some more synths and effects. It’s very chill, relaxed and low key which is a great contrast to the previous track .
