Not everyone is a fan of Valentines Day. Not everyone is in love. And not everyone likes love songs so there has to be an anthem for that right? Well The Netherlands newcomer Bulow has the perfect pop song for you. “Not A Love Song” is kind of straight forward. It’s not a love song. Instead this fiery track take aim at a guy who is trying to confess his feelings to her and she’s pretty adamant that she doesn’t feel that way back. “Wish I could tell you that I love you but I can’t. Wish I could call you in the morning but I can’t. Wish I could tell you that I miss you but I can’t. This is not a love song”. It’s a bit brutal but she does admit that she enjoys his company and being intimate with him but just doesn’t see it being anything more. So if you’re anti-relationships and feelings then this song is for you. It’s super catchy and has this cool carefree and “no fucks given” vibe to it. The verses are very laid back in structure with an indie-pop production similar to Tove Styrke’s recent material before the chorus bursts with oozing synths that will have you grooving. This is a bonafide banger.
