SINGLE REVIEW: Jesse Saint John – MOVE

JSJ

Jesse Saint John is one of the songwriters behind some of your favourite pop songs of the last 5 years. He worked with the likes of Charli XCX, Britney Spears, Camila Cabello and Brooke Candy to name a few. But now he is following in the footsteps of Julia Michaels and stepping into the spotlight to release his debut single. “Move” is an infectious, bold and crazy pop meets glam rock track that will have you wanting to… well, move. (Pun wasn’t originally intended). The infectious hook is so chaotic and fun that you can’t help but instantly smile and tap along. The production is quite similar to the brash pop that DNCE have been releasing over the past couple of years and that’s not a bad thing at all. We all need some more carefree pop like this in our lives and this is the perfect injection of craziness. There’s no denying that he knows how to write a hit for other artists but he has just confirmed that he can do it for himself too. So expect to hear and see more from this very exciting “newcomer”.
