SINGLE REVIEW: Kim Petras – I Don’t Want It At All
Los Angeles newcomer Kim Petras has just released her debut single and it is a certified bop. “I Don’t Want It At All” has all the perfect bubblegum elements to become a summer anthem and if you love gooey pop then this one is for you. The 80’s synth intro launches into a groovy baseline before delivering a hook that is going to be stuck in your head immediately after the first listen. Her vocals are somewhere between Carly Rae Jepsen and Sabrina Carpenter and this neon-tropical pop sound completely suits her. While it may be a bit gimmicky and you may be unsure at first whether you love or hate it I think you will come to decision that you want to hear it again. And I mean you aren’t really going to have a choice because that hook WILL be stuck in your head. “I want all my clothes designer. I want someone else to buy ‘em. If I cannot get it right now, I don’t want it, I don’t want it, I don’t want it at all”. It’s the carefree-guilty pleasure pop track that you need to inject into your life.
