SINGLE REVIEW: Tigertown – Warriors
After the release of their debut EP last year Tigertown have had a pretty big 2017 working on their full length album, playing shows across Australia and America as well as opening for Panic! At The Disco. They are about to open for Tove Lo next week before jetting off to the US again in August and September to play some shows with VERITE but before they do that they have dropped a shiny new track. “Warriors” is the big indie-pop song you kinda needed right now. It has a big anthemic chorus that will have you wanting to run through a field at a festival, falling in love and will empower you to follow your dreams. The song looks at wishing that things were as good in real life as they are in your dreams. “I don’t care if this is real, I’ll do anything to feel, just give me something. Cause I love you when I’m dreaming”. The production follows the lead of the material from their debut but has a extra pop gloss which reminds me of recent Fickle Friends. It’s a super fun and carefree track that is a perfect addition to your pre-festival playlists.
