Haim’s sophomore studio album “Something To Tell You” is only 2 weeks away and I’m very excited to have more of their sister pop-rock in the world. However their lead single “Want You Back” wasn’t the big comeback they anticipated. It fizzled. Their hype “live” single “Right Now” seemed to receive more traction with a stronger and more emotional sound that they should have gone towards instead of the gimmicky predecessor. However they’ve dropped another track and reverted back to that gimmicky sound. “Little Bit Of Your Love’ welcomes back the groovy baseline and harmonies whilst introducing a doo-woop sound that has been overdone in the past. It’s nothing new or fresh and this song just ends up screaming “play me on radio please”. The most exciting part of the song is the production and harmony breakdown before the final chorus which is just typical Haim anyway so nothing entirely new there either. It’s definitely made for their live show which I’m sure will be a lot of fun but it’s not a track I would go out of my way to listen to.
