SINGLE REVIEW: Fickle Friends – Glue
There is just something about Fickle Friends. They continue to release fiery tracks one after the other and are showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. This indie-pop 5 piece from Brighton have just dropped another synth layered track that may just become the anthem for your Summer or Winter fling (depending wherever in the world you are reading this). “Glue” details that intense and passionate moment you meet someone and your lips touch and you don’t want to let go. It’s a cheeky and flirty track that suggests that maybe you should just take it to the bedroom. “Because our lips are like glue I think I love you. So oooh, I wanna love you, I wanna love you for the night”. Their songs always have a groovy baseline and this song is no different with it accompanied by vibey synths and Natassja’s dreamy vocals. It is incredibly infectious with the hook getting cemented in your head instantly which is a fact you won’t even be mad about. You will be hitting replay so you can dance and singalong again and again because it is one of those carefree indie-pop tracks that you really need in your life right now.
