After taking a long hiatus Bridgit Mendler has not been wasting any time and has been constantly delivering new material. After the massive success of her EP last year she’s been giving us follow up singles every couple of weeks to hold us over until the next major release. “Can’t Bring This Down” is a collaboration with rapper Pell and is probably her strongest track since the EP. The organic rhythmic sound that she’s adapted really showcases her vocals brilliantly and oozes this confidence that her Disney debut album was lacking. It’s a catchy track that grows on you with each listen and has a sure fire hook that will have you grooving. However Im unsure why she’s releasing all these tracks with rappers as she should be stepping forward and showing off this new found confidence more.
