VIDEO PREMIERE: Bridgit Mendler – Temperamental Love

Bold. Powerful. Experimental and raw are all words I would use to describe Bridgit Mendlers new solo project. After departing her major record label she took some time to determine who she was as an artist and after experimenting with new sounds and techniques she made a massive comeback. Her EP “Nemesis” is a collection of cool alternative pop tracks that serve as a taste tester to her forthcoming sophomore album. A couple of weeks ago she dropped new single “Temperamental Love” with Devontee which further explores this DIY sound. The production and melody is similar to Diana Ross’ “Im Coming Out” and I know that sounds like a weird comparison but it’s valid. It’s a song that does grow on you with each listen and you will find yourself wanting more as it’s very brief in length.

She’s just released the video for “Temperamental Love” and it sees Bridgit and Devontee somewhere in the hills vibing along to the song. With over saturated colours and quirky little production elements the song complements the DIY and alternative feel of the song. Watch the cool and vibey video here;

She will be hitting the road for the NYLON Music Tour with indie pop duo POWERS for a massive run of North American dates in March and April. This will be one show you won’t want to miss out on.
