She is one of the biggest newcomers in the pop circuit and with the release of her debut international album coming in the next couple of months Zara Larsson has dropped yet another single to get you hyped. So far we have heard a string of club ready pop/dance tracks but on “So Good” we hear the songstress strip it down with a RNB slow jam that is ready to snatch weaves. It was a versatility that we needed to hear because she was slightly becoming predictable and no one wants that. The harmonies in the hook are so on point and ooze this sex appeal that rivals Selena Gomez “Good For You”. The production is simple and is driven by a groovy baseline and almost has a swing element which isn’t really surprising when you find out it’s produced by Charlie Puth. Her vocals drive this song and for once aren’t overshadowed by the production or frills which sadly slightly happened on “Aint My Fault”. However it features TY Dolla $ign and look I get the appeal but I have to question if it was really relevant for this song because to be honest all I want is her serenading me the whole time. This is a BIG song for a BIG artist and if you call yourself a pop fan and aren’t excited but her forthcoming album then you are kidding yourself.
