SINGLE REVIEW: Tkay Maidza – Ghost

TKAY GHOST
If you haven’t heard of Tkay Maidza yet then you’re doing life all wrong. This raptress (yes I really used that word to describe her) has been dominating the Australian Music Festival circuit, playing sold out club shows nationwide and even taken it overseas supporting the likes of Years & Years and Rita Ora. “M.O.B” was a tune and a half but she’s stepping it up with her new single “Ghost” which will be promoted by a new EP before the release of her debut album which is slated for April/May 2016. Produced by Bauer and What So Not and co-written by George Maple this song has so much star power and attitude and I don’t know how else to describe this song other than, B A N G E R.  The hard beats during the verses and pop hook will have every part of you wanting to move. The structure is very similar to M.O.B but it works in creating impact and will undoubtedly be stuck in your head instantaneously. Tkay Maidza is on the rise to the top so you better clear the way because nothing is stopping her and with “Ghost” she will continue to win over people because this song is a smash.
