SINGLE REVIEW: Giorgio Moroder Featuring Kylie Minogue – Right Here, Right Now
The king of disco Giorgio Moroder is launching his comeback in 2015 with his first studio album in over 30 years. With features from Sia, Britney Spears, Foxes, Charli XCX, Mikky Ekko and Matthew Koma this album will bring disco back in a big way. His first collaboration from this project has finally been released and who better to launch his comeback than Kylie Minogue. “Right Here, Right Now” implements old school disco and modern synths creating an infectious track that will quickly become your new favourite. Growing on you with each listen it is easily one of the best songs Kylie’s been on in years and with a lackluster return to her career last year this song is exactly what she needed to restore people’s faith. Her vocals aren’t has boring on this song compared to her last album and shows off a versatility she holds back on too regularly. I’m not sure if radio will get behind this song but with its Daft Punk vibe and killer chorus they would be stupid not to.
