Frank Ocean Cancels Australian Tour
Frank Ocean is notably one of the biggest names in the urban music scene at the moment with his album Channel Orange topping the charts worldwide and gaining critical acclaim. Frank Ocean kicked off his sold out Australian tour last night in Melbourne where the singer had vocal problems throughout his set.
After consulting a doctor it has been confirmed that Frank has suffered a small tears to one of his vocal chords. On medical advice he has to rest his voice for it to heal meaning that Frank Ocean has to cancel the rest of his Australian tour. This includes cancelling his headline appearance at this year’s Splendour In The Grass on Sunday night in Byron Bay. His timeslot will now be filled by mystery band Alt-J who is expected to draw huge crowds at the festival.
Unfortunately due to his tight tour schedule Live Nation have confirmed that they will not be able to reschedule replacement dates at this current time but will be endeavoring to bring him out for a full Australian tour in the near future.
